To the southeast of Metajna, in the southern bay of the peninsula, is the popular beach of Rucica. The distance to the center is 1.2 km, so that the beach can be easily reached on foot and by car. The pebbled beach is nestled in a barren bay with little green plants. Pebbles and rocks shine bright in the panorama of the turquoise water. Natural shade is not available. This is not a problem while bathing in the shallow shores. Except for a kiosk there are no tourist services.
