To the south of the village there is a campground bordering the generous Bay of Plitka Vala and a pebbled and sandy beach sharing the bay's name. It is especially popular with families with small children due to its shallow banks. The beach is just as popular with the older guests as well as with the younger. To be able to swim you have to walk a few meters into the sea. The edges of the beach are a little rocky, so bathing shoes are recommended. The beach is about 2.4 km away from the village of Betina. Shady trees frame the beach. There is a beach bar, a restaurant-café and parking. The campsite has shops.
