One of the most popular beaches near Porec, and therefore also the most visited, is the city beach. This pebbled beach is located in a very central location, extending from the Marina to the Brulo resort. There are sanitary facilities, sporting facilities (including water polo, beach volleyball, ping-pong, and water slides) and bars for a little in between refreshment. Lush trees that provide shade and protection from the hot summer sun grow nearby the beach. There is a section of beach reserved for nudists. The beach is barrier-free and therefore also accessible for physically disabled persons. During the main bathing season, lifeguards provide for the safety of the bathers.
