When the Bora and Scirocco, two notorious winds, are blowing, less experienced sailors had better anchor - or put a more experienced sailor at the helm. Most of Croatia's islands are located in northern Dalmatia, and is therefore considered the most popular sailing region of the country. Sailing trips of varying length are available in all marinas on the Adriatic coast.
