Playa Vela Pržina

The Vela Przina, the largest sandy beach in Lumbarda, stretches out in the south-east area of a bay about 1.8 km from the center. The Vela Przina is always well attended, mainly because of its fine sand which is ideal for building sandcastles and its very shallow banks. Families with small children and non-swimmers, therefore, can enjoy carefree days at the beach, which also provides a parasol and lounge chair rental service. You should not worry about rocks in the surf because they can be easily avoided on this vast coastline. There is a beach bar with refreshments and fast food, toilets- despite a fee, not overpriced- parking and locker rooms. One can, inter alia, play beach volleyball, go diving and snorkeling.
