The beautiful pebble beach Ambrela is located on the west side of the Verudela peninsula in the south of Pula, about 4 km from the city center. The beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, is connected to the Brioni beach by a promenade. Due to its very shallow entry into the sea, Ambrela is particularly popular with families with children. The little ones can really let off steam on the children’s playground near the beach, and there is also a large trampoline and a floating aqua park for children. The beach has a fenced-off bathing area that protects against jet skis and motorboats.
The beach offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities, as well as showers, changing rooms and a public toilet. Ambrela’s amenities also include sun lounger and parasol rental and lifeguards.
There is a restaurant, a fast food outlet, a beach bar and a cafe on the beach. The beach becomes rockier towards the edge. There are many shady spots under the dense pine forest. Parking is available nearby.
