The longest and most famous beach in Nin is the 3 km long sandy “Queen’s Beach” (Kraljicina Plaza) at the western end of the lagoon, which extends towards Sabunike. The sandy beach was named after the wife of the first Croatian king, who, according to legend, often came here to relax. According to the American Travel Channel, the beautiful sandy beach is one of the most beautiful in the world.
The sandy nature, the very gently sloping shore and the resulting high water temperature offer ideal bathing conditions, not just for small children. A volleyball court and several beach bars offer variety for adults. You can also find the healing mud for which Nin is famous here. The beach is equipped with showers and is easily accessible on foot or by car.
