4 km east of the town center is one of the most popular beaches on the island: Lovrecina. It is an idyllic bathing bay with a sandy, fine pebble beach, which is visited by many bathers in the summer. The reason for its popularity is the very gently sloping shore, so that small children and non-swimmers in particular can enjoy carefree bathing. Swimmers have to walk a few meters into the sea.
Dense vegetation provides plenty of shade behind the beach. Above the beach you can see the remains of a basilica from the 5th century. The bay can be reached on foot, by car or boat. Access is well developed.
