The 1.5 km long sandy beach Rajska Plaza in San Marino – also known as Paradise Beach – is definitely the most popular beach on the Lopar peninsula. The extensive sandy beach with the “Blue Flag” seal of approval stretches out in a wide bay 1.5 km southeast of Lopar. Small children and non-swimmers in particular enjoy the shallow shore that slopes very far into the sea.
The beach offers parasol and lounger rentals, restaurants and cafés as well as leisure activities (including massage, pedal boat rentals, beach volleyball, children’s playground). Lifeguards, changing rooms, toilets and showers complete the infrastructure of the beach, which can be reached on foot, by car and bus.
