One of the most beautiful beaches around Ston and Mali Ston is Prapratno in the bay of the same name in the southwest of the towns. The beach is 4 km southwest of the town center of Ston (6 km from Mali Ston). You walk through the forest of the same name. The bay is characterized by a gently sloping sandy beach, which attracts many visitors during the high season.
While you can sunbathe comfortably on the beach without a lounger, the shallow shore is ideal for small children, non-swimmers or for playing picigin. There are few trees to provide shade. Beach facilities include a beach bar, lounger and parasol rental, pedal boat rental and offers at the nearby motorhome camp. These include a restaurant, supermarket, kiosk and sports fields for tennis, volleyball, basketball and football.
