The most famous beach in Brela is located 800 m northwest of the town center. Punta Rata is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and it is also the site of a popular photo motif: the Stone of Brela. The finest pebbles slope gently into the crystal-clear sea, which has a sandy bottom interspersed with stones. The “Blue Flag”, various offers (including parasol and lounger rental, jet ski, pedal boat rental) as well as a restaurant and a beach café contribute to the beach’s popularity. There are all kinds of amenities around the pine-lined beach, such as showers, toilets and changing rooms; however, you cannot swim in seclusion here.
