Sunj Beach on the island of Lopud is particularly popular with island holidaymakers and day trippers due to its sandy nature. The extensive sandy beach is located in a deep bay on the south coast, 1.6 km southwest of the town center. The path to the beach is paved. Families with small children and non-swimmers enjoy the shallow shore, which only gets deeper after about 70 m. Beach visitors can find variety in beach volleyball, picigin or tennis – or they can simply enjoy the sandy beach with parasol and lounger rentals. Two restaurants offer drinks and food, and there is a public toilet nearby. The northern section of the beach is reserved for nudists.
