2.5 km southeast of the center lies the popular party beach Zrce, which is also known as the “Croatian Ibiza” and has been awarded the “Blue Flag” for excellent beach and water quality. Numerous leisure activities (including water skiing, jet skiing, water slides) ensure that there is no boredom. Bungee jumping and flyboarding are also offered.
In the evening, the wide pebble beach is visited by young partygoers who party in the beach clubs. The parties start at 4 p.m. and last until the early hours of the morning, every day. Families with small children prefer the beach until midday. Cafes, beach bars and clubs – as well as showers, toilets and changing rooms – satisfy all needs. Lifeguards ensure order and safety. Small children and non-swimmers enjoy carefree bathing in the shallow shore of the non-swimmer area. The beach has a large parking lot, but as this is always quite full, it is advisable to use the all-day shuttle from Novalja.
