The main beach at the holiday resort of Murter and one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island is the sandy beach in the Bay of Slanica. It lies 1 km southwest from the town's center. Due to the beach's very shallow shores and its sandy seabed, it is popular with young children and non-swimmers. Shady pines picturesquely frame the sandy beach and provide welcoming shade. On the western and eastern borders there are rocky sections. The main attraction for the little ones is the large water slide. The on foot, by bus or by car accessible beach is recommended for families with young children, non-swimmers, singles and young people. Parking is available nearby. There are sanitary facilities and showers, a beach bar, a café and a restaurant, a large water slide and boat rentals.

The descriptions on the page are subject to constant changes. We always look forward to interesting comments, which help to keep the beach descriptions up to date.
