Sveta Marina
Nestled in the bay sharing its name, the small, sleepy fishing village of Sveta Marina lies about 15 kilometers south of Labin. The village has a small harbor and a campground that can accommodate about 800 people. The surrounding landscape is characterized by steep cliffs, hidden caves and caverns and lush Mediterranean forests. Furthermore, there are restaurants and shops in the village for your daily needs. It is very quiet in Sveta Marina because the clamor and hubbub of mass tourism have not yet come to the small town.
The beautiful setting is best enjoyed during a long walk or a mountain biking tour. Above all, Sveta Marina is best known for its great diving spots that allow for unique insights into the rich underwater world of the Istrian coast. There is a diving school in the town for those interested in taking their first plunge. In the immediate vicinity of the town there are two beautiful bays that give bathers great views of the Kvarner Bay.
