Ližnjan

Liznjan is a small, romantic seaside resort about two kilometers from Medulin. Here most residents still traditionally subsist from agriculture and fishing and the products of their labor are used in the restaurants and cafés of the town for the delicious traditional dishes of the Istrian cuisine. Liznjan is the perfect destination for those seeking tranquility far away from the crowds, but at the same time wanting to be central enough to always have the possibility to escape on a day trip.

Worthwhile destinations include the cities of Medulin, Pula, Rovinj and Porec in addition to the nearby Kamenjak Nature Reserve and the Brijuni National Park only about 20 kilometers away. Those who would like an active vacation, can try out various sports here. Passionate horse lovers can ride at the "Libora" Ranch and others can find their activity in sport fishing, tracking or hunting.

Around Liznjan there are several pebble and rocky beaches stretching for 28 kilometers. The popular Bijeca beach in Medulin is recommended, especially for families with children.
