Selce

Surrounded by the neighboring towns of Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski, the tranquil coastal village of Selce is located on the east coast of the Kvarner Bay- directly opposite the island of Krk. The location not only serves as a springboard for trips to beautiful destinations, such as Rijeka, Crikvenica or Krk, but also has a wonderful panoramic and calm sea. With its late-historic features, the church is well worth a visit. The Church of Saint George and the castle, which was built on a medieval fortress, are worth seeing. From the castle, you can additionally get a fabulous vantage point of the Vinodol valley, and wonderful views of its surroundings.
