Karigador

Located in the northwestern region of Istria, just off the coast between Umag and Novigrad, there is a magical town encompassing peace and relaxation. In the small village of about 200 inhabitants, visitors can unwind and really enjoy the Mediterranean life. Residents in this village like to celebrate their festivals and by doing so continue to maintain these century-old traditions. Lively festivals and other folkloric events take place here primarily in the summer season. There is, furthermore, superb dining in Karigador which includes the especially tasty traditional fish and wild game dishes. The meals are typically served with a glass of wine from the region because of the many people here who subsist from the vineyards, olive groves and fishing industry.
