Pakoštane
You can take leisurely walks and bike rides around the 30.2-acre lake. Pakostane itself is a lively town with a long tourist tradition. This is evident in the number of restaurants and taverns, which are popular meeting places in the evenings. Here you can taste local delicacies such as smoked ham (Prsut) with a glass of local wine. In the summer months the cultural festivals and events provide the entertainment. The locals celebrate their customs not only at the Festival of Harmony Singing and the Knights Days of Vrana, but also at the summer carnival which creates plenty of hustle and bustle.
In regards to cultural and historical heritage, there is the Church of Sveti Juraj (Saint George) from the 15th century, which sits atop the highest point of this town's medieval center. You can enjoy a relaxing stroll through the old streets and then down to the harbor, where the beaches begin. Nudist vacationers will find beautiful bays in the direction of Biograd.
