Štinjan

Stinjan, a popular, small seaside resort in the southwestern region of Istria, is only a few minutes drive from the culturally rich city of Pula. The town is surrounded by shady pine forests that make for the perfect place to escape from the hot summer, Adriatic sun. Stinjan is the ideal place for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Due to its convenient location, many other interesting towns in the region as well as other natural and man-made attractions are within easy reach. The town itself has many historic buildings, which are mainly religious, such as the parish Church of St. Margaret with its 20 meter high bell tower- worth a look.

In and around Stinjan there are many opportunities to turn your holidays active. In addition to hiking and biking in the beautiful scenery, you can also play a variety of ball sports. Experienced riders can join the nearby riding trips on horseback. Various restaurants in Stinjan offer delicious Istrian dishes, fish in particular, and premium local wines.

Beaches in and around Stinjan

The town is connected to the neighboring town of Fazana, about three kilometers away, via the extensive promenade that runs along the coast. Here you will find wonderful pebble beaches that leave nothing to be desired, especially for families with children.

In Stinjan itself there is the pebble beach Vile Stinjan, which nestles in the bay that gives the town its name. This beach is also ideal for children. There is a lounge chair and parasol rental service on the beach, as well as various water sports options. A restaurant within walking distance provides refreshments for bathers.
