Tkon
Many bathers are attracted to Tkon's large variety of natural, flatly sloping into the sea, sandy beaches that stretch out to a total length of 4 km from Ugrinici in the north, over Tkon, until they reach the campsite of Sovinje in the South. Not only bathers, however, are drawn here, but also boaters and sailors to its well-developed port. Tkon, especially due to its proximity to the Kornati Islands, makes it a popular anchoring spot for sailors and boat owners. Residents of Tkon celebrate the port and its importance during the sailing race of Latinsko Idro or during the annual Fisherman's Night, as well as during other celebrations. The village has several restaurants, bars and shops, especially along the waterfront. Here you can try the North Dalmatian kitchen, take a stroll along the coast and discover olive groves and beautiful sandy coves or explore the surrounding hilly hinterlands on a hiking or cycling tour.
