Lozice
Lozice is a small settlement on the island of Vir, which is one among a total of 89 islands belonging to the Zadar Archipelago and is connected by a bridge to the mainland at Privlaka. The holiday resort of Lozice is located on the northwest coast of the island, about 1 km from the main town of Vir. The majority of the tourists here spend their time on the beautiful beaches around Lozice. This is because there are only a few restaurants and small shops in the town and larger shops, bars and night clubs are to be found in the main village of Vir.
Northwest of the town of Lozice, the island of Vir is partially wooded and visitors can only travel by car on a few streets. There are numerous trails for long bike rides and hikes, however. Or you can seek absolute peace in one of the secluded bays with wild beaches, which are in abundance to the northwest of the island. There are also beaches for nudist visitors and dog owners.
