Saplunara
In the village you can walk between the stone houses and terraced gardens in which flowers, citrus fruits and vegetables are grown. From Cape Gruj you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Elaphiti Islands. There is a military base on the Blace Peninsula, but it can not be visited as it has been declared a prohibited area. Additional points of interest, apart from the breathtaking nature, simply do not exist.
In Saplunara you must find private accommodation and you will be provided for in small taverns and restaurants. Tasty meals that you must try include the fish and meat dishes that are cooked under the "Peka" and seafood risotto. A small shop sells souvenirs, drinks and bread on request. The nearest supermarket is located 15 km away in Sobra.
