The Zadar Riviera in northern Dalmatia stretches from Privlaka in the north via the historic royal town of Nin and the city of Zadar to Sukošan in the south. The region is characterized by culturally significant towns, small fishing villages, romantic bays and numerous gravel and sandy beaches set against the impressive Velebit mountain range. Zadar is the economic and tourist center of the area, offering more than 3,000 years of history combined with modern attractions such as the Sea Organ and the "Greeting to the Sun".

Thanks to Zadar International Airport, the region is easily accessible all year round. From here, visitors can quickly reach the national parks of Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, Krka and the Kornati Islands.

Coastal villages such as Diklo, Kožino and Petrčane are ideal for a relaxing beach holiday. Zaton, Privlaka, Sabunike and Nin are especially popular with families due to their gently sloping sandy beaches. Quieter bays can be found in Ljubač, Rtina, Ražanac and Vinjerac, while Sukošan is home to Marina Dalmacija, one of the largest marinas in Croatia.
